Obesity is an important condition that has been on the agenda of the world for the last 20 years. If the necessary precautions are not taken, it is expected that a large proportion of our population will be obese in the coming years. Many factors affect obesity such as nutritional habits, lack of physical activity, leisure time habits, age, gender, education, genetic factors, urban life, rising our living standards, sports culture, and industrial food. One of the important factors in the fight against obesity is physical activity. The Importance of the Study: In this study, the importance of physical activity in the fight against obesity and what exercises should be done in order to be more active in daily life have been tried to be determined. Purpose of the Study: This study was conducted to determine the physical activity suggestions to be made against obesity, which is the disease of our era, and to emphasize the importance of the physical activity. Research Model: The research was prepared in the literature review model. Result of the Research: A sports specialist must determine the physical activity practices that they can perform for obese individuals. Physical activity program varies according to the physical characteristics of the person. Obese individuals must try to be active at the level they can do during the day. Obese individuals need to increase their physical activities and burn daily calories as much as the energy they receive daily. It is understood that physical activity contributes to weight loss and weight maintenance.
