The disadvantaged position of the disabled in employment, resulted in the emergence of employment employment techniques for the disabled. In this research, the approach of visually impaired, who are currently employed or searching for a job, to the employment techniques for the disabled. Qualitative method is used in the research; content analysis is applied to the data obtained from the interviews with eight participants. As a result of the research, it is shown that quota technique is not functional for the employment of the visiually impaired. Also, it is seen that, the visually impaired would prefer to be assessed according to their abilities, rather than being employed through the techniques. The participants imply that the completion of infrastructure that is required for visually impaired to overcome the obstacles resulting from their disability and briefing employer about this, would be more effective than employment techniques.
