Abstract


INVESTIGATION OF POSTER DESIGNS MADE BY THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH FOR THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ACCORDING TO DIRECT PERCEPTION THEORY

In the research, the covid-19 epidemic that emerged in Wuhan in 2019 and affected all humanity for two years by affecting the whole world, TC. The Covid-19 precaution posters, prepared by the Ministry of Health and distributed to many parts of Turkey, were examined according to the direct perception theory, one of the visual perception theories. As it is used in health communication, it is important that the posters that give direct information and direct behavior are directly perceived by the target audience without leaving them open to interpretation. In the research, the graphic elements necessary for the direct perception of the message stated on the poster by the target audience were emphasized.
