Abstract


THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ANXIETY WITH VIOLENCE TENDENCIES ASSOCIATE DEGREE STUDENTS’

One of the problems that may arise if the organism encounters any obstacle is violence. There are many factors in the emergence of violence. One of these factors is the anxiety states that individuals have. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the anxiety states of the associate students and the trends of violence. This study is a study of relational screening model. The data were collected by the Violence Tendency Scale and Beck Anxiety Inventory applied to 404 associate degree students. Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis have used to analyze the data. According to the results of the analysis, there has found a 0.01 level relationship between students' anxiety and violence. In addition, the adjusted value of R2 is 0, 150, indicating show that the students' violence tendency is due to anxiety situations of 15.0 %.
