Tefekkür kelimesi Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de çokça zikredilmiş olup, dini literatürde önemli bir yeri olan kavramdır. Bu kavramın Kur’ân’da yakın anlamlı kelimelerle; dini ve ahlakî açıdan önemi insanlara devamlı hatırlatılmıştır. Mükemmel bir şekilde yaratılmış olan insanın aynı zamanda düşünen bir varlık olması ise; tefekkürün insana kazandırılmış önemli bir yeti olduğunun da göstergesidir. Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de zikredilen tefekkür ayetlerinde insan, bu yetisi doğrultusunda hareket etmeye davet edilmiş ve hakikatler karşısında ibret alması gerektiği sıklıkla bildirilmiştir. Böylece insanın imani açıdan kendini geliştirip sırât-ı müstakîm üzere hayatını sürdürmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu istikamet ise insanın tefekkürü neticesinde elde edeceği mânevî terakkîler ile insân-ı kâmil mertebesine ulaşmasına vesile olacaktır.
Çalışmamızda tefekkür kavramı ve semantik bakımdan tefekkür ile alakalı yakın anlamlı kavramlar incelenmiştir. İsmâil Hakkı Bursevî’nin eserlerinde tefekkür hususunda yapmış olduğu telkinlere değinilmiş, onun düşünce dünyasındaki tefekkür kavramı üzerine durularak ayetlere olan işârî yaklaşımı ele alınmıştır. Akabinde Rûhu’l-Beyân adlı eserinde tefekkür âyetleri incelenmiş; gökyüzü, yeryüzü, bitkiler ve hayvanlar ile alakalı bazı âyetlerin tefekkürü üzerine durulmuştur. Kevnî âyetler ile birlikte bütün tefekkür âyetlerinin Allah’ın varlığına ve birliğine delâlet ettiği okuyucuya aktarılmaya çalışılmış, Bursevî’nin bu âyetleri nasıl yorumladığı, işârî bakımdan hangi kaynaklardan esinlendiği araştırılmıştır
The word contemplation is widely mentioned in the Qur?an and is a concept that has an important place in religious literature. In the Qur'an, this concept is used with words with close meaning; people were constantly reminded of its religious and moral importance. If a person created by a perfect state is also a thinking being, it is also an indication that contemplation is an important power acquired by a person. In the verses of contemplation mentioned in the Qur'an, man is invited to act in line with this ability and it is often stated that he should take a lesson from the truth. In this way, man will develop himself in terms of faith and continue his life in order to be sırat-ı mustaqim. This direction will be instrumental in reaching all perfections with the spiritual states that a person will achieve as a result of contemplation. In this article, the concept of contemplation was examined in Isma?il ?a??i al-Brusawi 's work, Ru? al-Bayan, Brusawi 's approach to verses is considered from a Sufism point of view, focusing on the concept of contemplation in the world of thought.
